Barca tak boleh menganggap enteng Rossoneri agar target kemenangan dapat terwujud.

Kemenangan menjadi target utama Barcelona saat mengunjungi AC Milan di San Siro, Kamis (21/2) dinihari WIB, pada partai pertama putaran 16 besar Liga Champions, demikian ditekankan Pedro Rodriguez.

Meski laga berlangsung di rumah lawan, The Catalans tetap menyandang status unggulan karena punya rekor bagus setidaknya dalam tujuh duel terakhir kontra Rossoneri (empat kali menang tanpa pernah kalah). Dari segi amunisi terkini pun kualitas Barca di atas Milan.

Namun demikian, Pedro mengingatkan rekan-rekannya agar tak memandang enteng ancaman tim besutan Massimiliano Allegri demi terealisasinya hasil positif.

“Kami datang ke San Siro untuk menang,” tukas sang winger dikutip ESPN.

“Kami harus menaruh atensi pada pertahanan, tapi kami akan berusaha mendapatkan kemenangan. Milan juga telah menyulitkan kami [sebelumnya]. Selain itu mereka mempunyai banyak trofi dan sejarah amat besar.”

“Mereka senantiasa berbahaya. Kami tengah dalam performa bagus dan berharap bisa bermain baik di sana. Kami ingin berada di setiap kompetisi dan kami berusaha memenangi segalanya,” tegas Pedro.

Holger Badstuber: Bayern Munich Bisa Lebih Besar Dari Barcelona

Badstuber berharap bisa bermain di sejumlah pertandingan sebelum musim ini berakhir.

Bek Bayern Munich Holger Badstuber yakin timnya memiliki potensi untuk menjadi klub terbesar di Eropa dan bahkan "meruntuhkan" dominasi Barcelona.

Bayern dua kali tampil di final Liga Champions dalam tiga musim terakhir, tapi sayang mereka belum bisa memenangkan gelar paling prestisius di Eropa ini sejak mengalahkan Valencia pada 2001. Meski begitu, Badstuber yakin Bayern akan bisa kembali marajai Eropa.

"Bayern bisa menjadi klub terbesar di Eropa, bahkan lebih besar dari Barcelona," ujar Badstuber dikutip Bild.

Badstuber kini sedang memulihkan diri dari cedera lutut, dan pemain berusia 23 tahun itu berharap bisa kembali tampil sebelum musim ini berakhir. Ia sudah tampil 12 kali di Bundesliga musim ini, sebelum diterpa cedera.

"Saya berharap bisa tampil di sejumlah pertandingan untuk Bayern pada musim ini. Itulah tujuan utama saya pada saat ini," ujarnya lagi.

Adriano Galliani: AC Milan Tidak Takut Barcelona

Galliani menyatakan, timnya cukup rileks sebelum menghadapi Barcelona di Liga Champions.

Wakil presiden AC Milan Adriano Gallini sudah membicarakan tentang pertemuan timnya dengan Barcelona di babak 16 besar Liga Champions. Menurutnya, Rossoneri tidak takut dengan nama besar Azulgrana.

Leg pertama akan berlangsung di San Siro pada 20 Februari mendatang. Ini adalah pertemuan ulangan untuk kedua tim karena mereka pernah bertemu empat kali di musim lalu, yakni di fase grup dan babak perempat-final. AC Milan harus terhenti di babak delapan besar di tangan sang rival.

Barcelona memang disebut-sebut sebagai salah satu favorit untuk memenangi kompetisi ini, namun Gallini optimistis dengan peluang timnya.

"Barcelona sudah lama menjadi tim terbaik di Eropa, tapi kami cukup rileks menghadapi pertandingan ini," ujar Galliani dikutip laman resmi klub.

"Liga Champions berbeda dengan liga sehingga Anda perlu tampil maksimal untuk bisa melaju ke babak berikutnya."

"Ini terasa aneh. Kami bertemu mereka enam kali dalam dua musim."

"Sebenarnya kami lebih suka menghadapi tim lain di putaran ini, tapi dua laga ini jelas akan menjadi pertandingan fantastis."
