Barca tak boleh menganggap enteng Rossoneri agar target kemenangan dapat terwujud.

Kemenangan menjadi target utama Barcelona saat mengunjungi AC Milan di San Siro, Kamis (21/2) dinihari WIB, pada partai pertama putaran 16 besar Liga Champions, demikian ditekankan Pedro Rodriguez.

Meski laga berlangsung di rumah lawan, The Catalans tetap menyandang status unggulan karena punya rekor bagus setidaknya dalam tujuh duel terakhir kontra Rossoneri (empat kali menang tanpa pernah kalah). Dari segi amunisi terkini pun kualitas Barca di atas Milan.

Namun demikian, Pedro mengingatkan rekan-rekannya agar tak memandang enteng ancaman tim besutan Massimiliano Allegri demi terealisasinya hasil positif.

“Kami datang ke San Siro untuk menang,” tukas sang winger dikutip ESPN.

“Kami harus menaruh atensi pada pertahanan, tapi kami akan berusaha mendapatkan kemenangan. Milan juga telah menyulitkan kami [sebelumnya]. Selain itu mereka mempunyai banyak trofi dan sejarah amat besar.”

“Mereka senantiasa berbahaya. Kami tengah dalam performa bagus dan berharap bisa bermain baik di sana. Kami ingin berada di setiap kompetisi dan kami berusaha memenangi segalanya,” tegas Pedro.

Holger Badstuber: Bayern Munich Bisa Lebih Besar Dari Barcelona

Badstuber berharap bisa bermain di sejumlah pertandingan sebelum musim ini berakhir.

Bek Bayern Munich Holger Badstuber yakin timnya memiliki potensi untuk menjadi klub terbesar di Eropa dan bahkan "meruntuhkan" dominasi Barcelona.

Bayern dua kali tampil di final Liga Champions dalam tiga musim terakhir, tapi sayang mereka belum bisa memenangkan gelar paling prestisius di Eropa ini sejak mengalahkan Valencia pada 2001. Meski begitu, Badstuber yakin Bayern akan bisa kembali marajai Eropa.

"Bayern bisa menjadi klub terbesar di Eropa, bahkan lebih besar dari Barcelona," ujar Badstuber dikutip Bild.

Badstuber kini sedang memulihkan diri dari cedera lutut, dan pemain berusia 23 tahun itu berharap bisa kembali tampil sebelum musim ini berakhir. Ia sudah tampil 12 kali di Bundesliga musim ini, sebelum diterpa cedera.

"Saya berharap bisa tampil di sejumlah pertandingan untuk Bayern pada musim ini. Itulah tujuan utama saya pada saat ini," ujarnya lagi.

Adriano Galliani: AC Milan Tidak Takut Barcelona

Galliani menyatakan, timnya cukup rileks sebelum menghadapi Barcelona di Liga Champions.

Wakil presiden AC Milan Adriano Gallini sudah membicarakan tentang pertemuan timnya dengan Barcelona di babak 16 besar Liga Champions. Menurutnya, Rossoneri tidak takut dengan nama besar Azulgrana.

Leg pertama akan berlangsung di San Siro pada 20 Februari mendatang. Ini adalah pertemuan ulangan untuk kedua tim karena mereka pernah bertemu empat kali di musim lalu, yakni di fase grup dan babak perempat-final. AC Milan harus terhenti di babak delapan besar di tangan sang rival.

Barcelona memang disebut-sebut sebagai salah satu favorit untuk memenangi kompetisi ini, namun Gallini optimistis dengan peluang timnya.

"Barcelona sudah lama menjadi tim terbaik di Eropa, tapi kami cukup rileks menghadapi pertandingan ini," ujar Galliani dikutip laman resmi klub.

"Liga Champions berbeda dengan liga sehingga Anda perlu tampil maksimal untuk bisa melaju ke babak berikutnya."

"Ini terasa aneh. Kami bertemu mereka enam kali dalam dua musim."

Mathieu Flamini Ungkap Kelemahan Cesc Fabregas

Gelandang 28 tahun membeberkan bocoran tentang mantan rekan setimnya di Arsenal jelang pertemuan Milan dan Barcelona, tengah pekan nanti.

Mathieu Flamini yakin AC Milan mampu mengeksploitasi kelemahan Barcelona kala kedua tim bertemu di babak 16 besar Liga Champions, Kamis (21/2) dinihari WIB mendatang. Rossoneriakan menjamu raksasa Catalan lebih dulu di San Siro sebelum bertandang ke Camp Nou, dua pekan berselang.

Bukan hanya itu, pemain Prancis juga membocorkan kelemahan rekan setimnya di Arsenal, Cesc Fabregas, yang kembali ke Camp Nou sejak 2011 lalu.

"Fabregas adalah pemain dengan banyak kualitas, karena dia memiliki visi luar biasa dan sangat hebat di depan gawang," puji Flamini seperti dilansir Football Italia.

"Sementara untuk kekurangannya, terkadang dia 'lupa' bertahan. Barcelona memiliki banyak pemain hebat dan memeragakan permainan indah, jadi mereka termasuk kandidat favorit untuk menjadi juara [Liga Champions."

Cesc Fabregas: Eksodus Pemain Telah Lemahkan AC Milan

Menurut sang gelandang, perginya Ibrahimovic dan Thiago Silva telah meninggalkan lubang besar di tubuh Rossoneri.

Gelandang Barcelona Cesc Fabregas menganggap kualitas skuat AC Milan menurun semenjak kepergian Zlatan Ibrahimovic dan Thiago Silva musim panas lalu.

Ibra dan Silva meninggalkan San Siro untuk bergabung ke Paris Saint-Germain pada Juli 2012 silam. Meski ia menganggap kekuatan Rossoneri melemah, Fabregas tetap menaruh perhatian pada pemain lain, seperti mantan rekan setimnya di Arsenal Mathieu Flamini.

“Tentu saja, ketika Anda kehilangan dua pemain kunci seperti Ibrahimovic dan Thiago Silva, maka skuat tersebut akan kekurangan kualitas,” ujar Fabregas di laman resmi Barca.

“Meski demikan, kami patut mewaspadai pemain lain, seperti Mathieu [Flamini]. Dia telah kembali fit dan bermain dengan sangat baik. Dia akan melakukan apa yang pelatih inginkan. Bagi saya, sungguh menakjubkan melihatnya bermain,” pungkas Fabregas.

Dalam babak 16 besar Liga Champions, Blaugrana akan terlebih dahulu bertandang ke San Siro pada Kamis (21/2) dini hari WIB, sebelum menjamu Milan di Camp Nou pada bulan Maret.

Carles Puyol: Saya Fans Milan

Meski pernah ingin membela AC Milan, Carles Puyol menyatakan akan pensiun di Barcelona.

Kapten Barcelona Carles Puyol rupanya menyimpan kekaguman tersendiri kepada calon lawan mereka di babak 16 besar Liga Champions, AC Milan.

Barcelona akan menghadapi tuan rumah Milan pada leg pertama, Rabu (20/2) malam. Dalam konferensi pers prapertandingan, Puyol mengatakan selalu menjadi pendukung Milan kecuali tentu ketika sedang berhadapan dengan Barcelona.

"Milan tidak mengawali musim dengan baik, tapi sekarang mereka dalam kondisi bagus," ujarnya membuka pujian.

"Pertandingan akan sengit karena Milan merupakan lawan yang harus dihormati. Mereka menjual banyak pemain penting dan kini lebih muda. Mungkin pengalaman hilang, tapi mereka lebih menyatu. Kami harus bermain seperti biasanya, memainkan gaya sendiri."

Olivier Giroud: Belum Ada Yang Kalah

Giroud mengakui gol ketiga Bayern Munich mengubah jalannya pertandingan.

Striker Arsenal Olivier Giroud tidak mau timnya dianggap sudah kalah, meski baru saja dihabisi tim tamu Bayern Munich 3-1 di leg pertama babak 16 besar di Emirates Stadium, Rabu (20/2) dini hari WIB.

Tiga gol Bayern dicetak Toni Kroos dan Thomas Muller di babak pertama serta Mario Mandzukic di babak kedua. Gol balasan The Gunners hanya dicetak Podolski di menit ke-55.

Pemain asal Prancis itu yakin gol ketiga Bayern "membunuh" atmosfir di Emirates, padahal sebelumnya sempat ramai usai gol Podolski. Giroud mengakui timnya akan sulit mengatasi defisit tiga gol di Allianz Arena.

"Kami menjaga peluang di babak kedua, tapi saya pikir gol ketiga mereka sungguh mengubah pertandingan," ujar Giroud dikutip laman resmi UEFA.

"Belum ada yang kalah, tapi kami harus bisa mencetak tiga gol tandang. Di saat Anda melihat betapa kuatnya mereka dalam pertahanan, maka [misi] ini tidak akan mudah."
